Water Quality Specialist, EES Consulting, Bellingham, WA
Water Quality Specialist to be filled in EES Consulting’s Bellingham, Washington office. Qualified applicants should have at minimum a BS in water quality or limnology combined with 5 years of relevant experience. Masters degree preferred. Duties include project management, study plan development, field studies, report writing, and client and project development. Responsibilities may also include participating in projects related to fisheries and hydrologic issues.

Applicants must have experience with study design and implementation, be able to participate in and conduct field investigations, data analysis, report writing and presentations. Must possess extensive knowledge of water quality and temperature modeling using CE-QUAL2 or similar modeling software. Experience with the FERC licensing process and 401 certification will be valuable. Applicants selected for interviews will be requested to provide an example of their technical writing.

The selected applicant must be able to work independently, have good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in and lead teams. Current projects consist of traveling to sites in Washington, Oregon and British Columbia. Salary range commensurate with experience DOE. Position includes full benefits package, 401k, relocation assistance and bonus program.
